| Abstract: | The characterization of field strengths in quiet Sun internetwork regions has been pursued by many authors over the last years, but no definite conclusion has been reached yet. Depending on the spectral region analyzed, a predominance of kG or hG field strengths is obtained. Here we present the results of Milne-Eddington inversions of the pair of Fe~{\sc{i}} lines at 630.2~nm observed with HINODE in internetwork regions near disk center. At the angular resolution of these measurements (0.32~arcsec), the polarization signals are much larger than those observed in ground-based telescopes. We estimate the distribution of field strengths and flux densities in the internetwork, and analyze in detail different line parameters such as Stokes $V$ zero-crossing velocities, amplitude, and area asymmetries. |
