Title: Advanced forward modeling and inversion of Stokes profiles caused by the joint action of the Hanle and Zeeman effects
Authors: A. Asensio Ramos, J. Trujillo Bueno
Form: talk
Abstract: The aim of this contribution is to present to the solar physics community a robust but user-friendly code for the diagnostics of the dynamical and magnetic properties of chromospheric plasma structures. It is based on the Hanle and Paschen-Back effects in lines of neutral Helium and it takes into account radiative transfer effects. It has two options: forward modeling and inversion of the Stokes profiles. We show some applications to recent spectropolarimetric observations in the spectral lines of the 10830 {\AA} and 5876 {\AA} multiplets of neutral helium. The selected examples include solar coronal filaments, prominences, spicules, and active regions. Particular attention will be given to clarify the influence of radiative transfer effects on the determination of the magnetic field vector.
