| Abstract: | The diagnostic potential of the resonance polarization observed in the Ba~{\sc{ii}} 455.4~nm line is explored. The center-to-limb variations of the line and continuum polarization have been recorded at the LJR of the Pic du Midi observatory. Non-LTE polarized radiative transfer modeling, including hyperfine structure and partial frequency redistribution, will be presented. |
